Bramble Mill is a petite kitchen and bakehouse in Wake Forest, NC, rooted in the rhythms of our family and the places that have shaped us. Our name comes from our daughters, whose helpful hands and wild-hearted wonder inspired it all. Our son, our oldest, adds his soulful spark and trusted taste-testing skills to the signature staples that carry his name and character on our menu.
This little bakehouse is a love letter to them, and the flaky crusts of France and the Alpine cafés my husband and I wandered into while traveling abroad, gathering flavors, feelings, and inspiration along the way. Every tart, toast, and hand-rolled bagel begins with something made from scratch, and a little magic from the ones who made us parents.

What began as a quiet craving for beauty and slowness has become something much more. After nearly a decade spent in the design world—shaping brands, refining visuals, and telling other people’s stories—Bramble Mill is where I come home to my own. Food has always been my creative escape: tactile, intuitive, and entirely my own. It’s where I can shape with my hands what I feel in my heart, then share it as a kind of love language with my kids, my husband, and now, with you.
At Bramble Mill, each bake is layered with memory and meaning. It’s crusts pulled from Parisian mornings, alpine air folded into laminated dough, flour-dusted counters shared with little helpers, and staple recipes built around what my son loves most. This isn’t just a bakery. It’s a reflection of our life—messy, warm, full of texture, and made with so much care.
